Magda has practiced and taught yoga in various studios around Manchester. Before that she was working in the stressful environment of film and media which created the need for her to find something which was going to be good for her body and mind.
She fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga as she realised that the practice is much more than just physical exercises. Fascinated by the breath, flow and changes that yoga started to make in her life, she decided that she would love to pass on that practice to other people.
Magda completed her Yoga Alliance Ashtanga teacher training at the beautiful Samahita Retreat, at Koh Samui in Thailand where she studied yoga anatomy, philosophy and various breathing techniques – pranayama. Fascinated by water since she was a sailing as a child, she discovered Stand Up Paddleboard and very quickly she started using the board as an alternative yoga mat.
After teacher training in Brighton she opened first SUP yoga classes in Manchester. She is a qualified International Surfing Association flat water instructor and holds a SUP Yoga Instructor award. As she says water is her element, nature is her healer, yoga is her life.
